The Prague Rainbow Spring tournament dates back to 2000 when 24 volleyball teams from all over Europe gathered in Prague for the first time. Since 2006 the tournament has grown every year: in 2006 the first East European teams (our friends from Poland and Hungary) joined in; and from 2007 our Bulgarian friends have regularly attended the tournament. SPRING IS COMING! 🌷
The tournament will take place in AQUACENTRE ŠUTKA at the address Čimická 848/41, 182 00 Praha 8 on Saturday, 6th of May. The first matches will start at 11:59 AM and the swimming pool will be available from 11:00 AM. If you decide to go by public transport (20 minutes from the city center to the Prague northern area), the best way how to reach it is by metro C line (Red) to the “Kobylisy” station and switch to buses 152 or 177 to the stop “Písečná”. The swimming pool is right under the stop. It is possible to park your car for free in front of the venue. The award ceremony will take place right after each category, but it will be also worth staying till the end, cheering for other swimmers, and enjoying the great atmosphere. Show support to our friends. There will be six swimming lines and we have also managed to get licensed referees. With that and thanks to your participation, we believe that we can manage again after long 3 years to organize the biggest and gayest swimming tournament in Central-EAST Europe and spread love and compassion to the troubled east. Get excited, bring your best game, the fiercest cheers, and may the best swimmer WIN!
