Back on the field, this time in Dampa Tiger Reserve. The plan of the day was to sep up flying interception trap, Malaise trap, sweeping and pit fall traps.

It’s cold up there

Y el otoño? A qué huele?

A lluvia, a tierra mojada,
a saber que el invierno está al acecho,
a tardes en casa y mañana de paseo
la vuelta a la rutina,
la cuenta atrás para el año nuevo,
pensar en el próximo verano…

Second day in Prague:

Visit to Prague’s palace where we found a sleepy peacock 🦚 lying on the floor.

After visiting the palace, I wouldn’t recommend paying for it. The views of the buildings (palace, cathedral, chapel) are much better outside than inside.

Tip: the best way to get to the palace is by tram, cheap and you get a nice your around the city.

Prague first day part II:

These two pictures were taken in very famous spots in Prague.

1 pic: on the right hand side of the Charles bridge. A fantastic place to take a pic with the Bridge + Prague castle.

2 pic: John Lennon Wall. You can find it at the other side of the bridge, near the water mill. It symbolizes freedom of speech and the non-violent resistance of the Czech youth.

First day in Prague:

The main attraction of the day was the newly open . They only offer guided visits that last 45 min and cost 300 CZK.

The visit includes the astronomical tower, a baroque library, a FANTASTIC rooftop views and 172 steps. You gets a small explanation about the place and tools used in .
The down side of the tour is the unavailability to visit the library properly. You get to take a pic from a barrier fairly far to see anything properly.

However, I do recommend the visit as the views of the city of are astonishing!

Canterbury

A great getaway from London, easy to reach and stunning.

Its Cathedral is one of the oldest in England still in use.

Many people pilgrimage to after the death of the Archbishop Thomas Becket who was killed in the cathedral.

For those less religious, Canterbury has fantastic park such as Westgate Garden where you can walk by the river and enjoy nature.
