International Day for the Eradication of Poverty tomorrow reminds us of how many people live in poverty, made worse by and now the cost of living crisis.
Even before the pandemic, our surveys showed how some people in our societies in Europe go to bed hungry and could not afford basic items such as healthy food or heating.

Mental Health is important for every individual, but unfortunately, are even more vulnerable to different mental health problems due to lack of health insurance, security, employment and basic living conditions.
We should all step up our efforts to provide better mental care services for the most disadvantaged groups, such as , , , and other vulnerable groups.
Today, for , we recall that the are significantly impacted by stress, anxiety, and depression, while having much less access than their non-Roma counterparts to adequate care and support services, including due to . We are attending Mental Health Europe's hybrid event on migrants, refugees and mental health, and join their call urging European institutions to step up provision of mental care services for the most disadvantaged and often left behind.
