Traditional weapons and tools as a path to rediscover the deeper qualities of internal arts, even through the practice of the chinese wooden staff.
☀️ A few moments from the seminar “Beyond the Body”, held in Italy just a few days ago.
❤️ Master MAD - Mauro Antonino D'Angelo will stay in Europe for a few more weeks, sharing time, practice, and research together.
I’m very happy to announce that the first three talks from the conference organised by the CONNECT Department of DECODE are now online.
For many years, we’ve been asking ourselves a question:
Is it really possible to open a meaningful dialogue between science, spirituality, holistic practices, traditional martial arts, and contemporary culture?
Our answer is yes!
With the DECODE project we’ve been working for many years on an intercultural initiative that tries to bring these different worlds into conversation.
At our latest CONNECT conference, doctors, scientists, philosophers, and practitioners from different disciplines came together around the same table to explore shared questions from different perspectives.
This first event was organized in Italy, so the talks are in Italian, but you can easily activate English subtitles on YouTube.
We’ve decided to publish the full version of the speeches, and the first three videos are already available online.
You’ll find the link to the free YouTube playlist in the text of this post.
And if any of you are interested in collaborating with this project, feel free to write to me directly or contact the CONNECT Department through the DECODE website.
Enjoy the videos, and see you soon.

📍 On 13 December 2025, the Department of Physics of Roma Tre University (Italy) hosted the first CONNECT Symposium, organised by the CONNECT Department within the DECODE Project.
CONNECT represents the natural evolution of DECODE’s work: a laboratory of ideas, studies, and research aimed at fostering a concrete dialogue between science and spirituality, using the lens of Western scientific research to analyse and interpret ancient wisdom traditions and contemplative practices.
🧠🫀 CONNECT was created to deepen the investigation of the human being — mind, body and experience — by bringing together researchers, university professors, medical doctors and specialists from different fields.
Through dialogue between traditional knowledge and contemporary research, CONNECT aims to foster a scientifically grounded, culturally respectful and open space for inquiry into embodied and contemplative practices.
🧩 The conference “La Conoscenza non è solo Fisica” was conceived as a continuing platform for dialogue, inviting scientific rigor, intellectual curiosity and respect for cultural integrity.
Our aim is to bridge fields that seldom intersect in conventional academic settings, opening fertile ground for transdisciplinary inquiry and shared exploration.
🙏 We are deeply grateful to the Department of Physics at Università Roma Tre for hosting this event and for supporting our vision of integrated research.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to all speakers and participants whose presence, expertise and engagement made this day a meaningful testament to what collective inquiry can achieve.
🌱 The dialogue has only just begun.
Stay tuned as the CONNECT Research Department continues to grow, develop and open new horizons in the scientific and contemplative exploration of human potential.

A wave of energy in Lausanne! ⚡️
Practitioners from across France and Switzerland came together this weekend to train with Master MAD and begin the DECODE Intensive Training Program.
A new chapter begins — a seed planted for the growth of a teaching approach that’s redefining how Chinese Internal Martial Arts are studied and taught around the world.
