Nano Sumo (2.5cm × 2.5cm): True minimalism—fitting power and logic into a coin-sized space.
Micro Sumo (5cm × 5cm): Pocket-sized speedsters where hardware integration is key.
Mini Sumo (10cm × 10cm): The world's most popular class. Fully autonomous, driven by code.
Remote Mini Sumo (10cm × 10cm): Mini size, but manually controlled. Tests driver reflexes.
Lego Sumo (15cm × 15cm): Strictly Lego components. A test of structural creativity.
Automatic Mega Sumo (20cm × 20cm): Autonomous giants with massive torque and magnetic downforce.

Pure Autonomy: Drones must utilize onboard sensors, cameras, and advanced algorithms to perceive their environment, map the track, and make split-second decisions in mid-air.
Complex Obstacles: Navigating through gates and tight turns at high speeds requires flawless control theory and real-time path planning.
Speed vs. Stability: Teams must find the perfect balance between aggressive racing speeds and the precise stability needed to avoid catastrophic crashes.
