Great news from Banya! 💚
ESARDEF and her friends and partners have donated a four-room inclusive toilet block to the Kindergarten in Banya, Mamfe, South West Region. This is the first toilet facility ever built for the school, which previously had none!
This disability-friendly facility now gives our 200 children dignity, safety, and a healthier place to learn. It also complements other pressing needs like a playground and further school improvements.
Huge thanks to the Head Teacher, Teachers, PTA, and all our amazing partners for making this possible 🙏🏾
Together, we are building inclusive schools and a brighter future for our children. 🇨🇲✨

Empowering Women Through Menstrual Hygiene Education & Skills Training!
From February 26–28, 2025, ESARDEF staff and trainees participated in an intensive Menstrual Hygiene Education and Management program. This initiative aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge about their bodies, enabling them to make informed decisions and prevent unwanted pregnancies.
The program concluded with an engaging menstrual bead-making workshop, where trainees learned how to track their cycles using handmade menstrual beads—a practical and empowering skill for reproductive health management.
Through education and hands-on training, we are breaking barriers, promoting self-awareness, and empowering young women and girls to take charge of their health and future.
According to our Director, "Education is Sweet, But with skills, it is more SWEETER, the reason why we embarked on this program"
