Another Wednesday Evening Lectures @ PTS Kumba.
Rev. Kongnyuh Emmanuel, a round and sound name in the Old Testament Department is challenging us with some contemporary issues.
He is talking on:
"The cure of Naaman (2 Kings 5) and the prophetic phenomenon in African Christianity: A reflection on contemporary practices".
This is part of the Masters Degree thesis he submitted and defended at PTS Kumba in May 2013.
The faculty found the work still relevant in the present context and especially to inform our students and faculty who were not there during the defence. It will equally throw more light for our level 400 students who have just completed a course on Prophecy and Prophetism in the Old Testament and contemporary religious practices.
You can get the hard copy of the thesis from the PTS Kumba Library. No electronic copies available for now.

Evening Lecture Today Wednesday 24/02/2021.
At PTS Kumba, we are treated to any recent research by Faculty and external experts.
Today we shall be treated to a presentation by the Rev. Dr. Lemnyuy Dora Bongajum on the topic:
"The Influence of Teacher Quality on Students' Performance in Presbyterian Secondary Schools in Anglophone Cameroon".
This is based on a thesis she submitted to the Department of Educational Foundations and Administration in the Faculty of Education of the University of Buea in partial fulfilment of the requirements for a PhD in Educational Administration in January 2020.
Officially gazetted in 1952, the PTS has remained tall in Theological Education and Pastoral formation in Cameroon. It is among the few theological destinations that combine social science research and theology.
From 2018 to 2021 January: quite some time not posted on facebook!
