Your affiliate gave you a curriculum. It’s not your curriculum.
It’s a great starting point, built for a thousand clubs. Which means it’s built for none of them.
Keep it as the base. Then add three layers only you can add.
One: your words. What does “press” actually mean at your club?
Two: your calendar. Your tournaments, your fields, your weeks.
Three: your drills. The ones your coaches already run well.
There’s a free tool that lets you build that layer. Your sessions, your library, on your calendar, straight to your coaches’ phones.
Their curriculum is the floor. Yours is the house.

A technical director told me: we have a two-hundred-thirty-page document, and I don’t even follow it.

Two hundred thirty pages. Nobody reads page one-forty on a Tuesday at five-fifteen.

Here’s the rule. If a coach can’t use it in the parking lot, it doesn’t exist.

So cut the book into sessions. One session. Four blocks. Warm-up. Technical. Game-related. Game. Eighty minutes.

That’s your methodology, in a shape a volunteer can actually run.

There’s a free tool that starts every session with exactly that four-block template. You drag your drills in, save it, and it lands on
your coach’s phone.

Your two hundred thirty pages become one tap.

The first is the Curriculum Hub. You build the session once and it shows up on your coach’s phone the night he’s coaching it. Drills,
coaching points, diagram, all on one card.

The second is the Tactical Board. Your real roster on the field with names and numbers, 26 formations, 28 pieces of equipment, and the
players actually move when you animate it.

The third is the Video Editor. Upload the clip, the AI tracks every player, and you mark it up with a real offside line, distances and
speeds. Then you send it to one player’s phone.

And the fourth is the Standardization Playbook. Three chapters on why families leave, why coaches don’t follow the plan, and what five
disconnected tools cost you every year.

Two of them open in your browser without an account.

I found the free tactical board US soccer coaches use, and I haven’t opened Keynote since.

It’s got the fields you actually train on: full pitch, half field, the box, a 7v7.

It’s got the formations. One click, and the whole team is already standing where it should be.

It’s got My Roster, so it’s not X’s and O’s. You drag your actual players on, with their name and their number.

So if you want it, comment TOOL and I’ll send it to you.

Heads up — directors of coaching who hate building soccer sessions in Keynote will love this.

And no, no, no, I’m not talking about clip art and arrows on a slide.

It’s a tactical board built for soccer, and it’s completely free: 26 formations you drop in one click, 35 field setups, and 28 pieces of equipment — cones, ladders, hurdles, goals.

You put your real roster on the pitch, with names, photos and numbers.

Then you animate it. The players move, the runs move, and you export the whole thing as a video or an image.

And it already comes with a whole library of pre-built soccer plays.

If you’re still doing this in Keynote, you can open it right now — no account needed.

Your soccer club wrote 230 pages of curriculum. Your coaches need one screen.

This is the Curriculum Hub, and it’s completely free.

Your methodology goes in once and comes out as the session your coach opens on his phone that night.

Year, month, week, session — four levels, one source of truth.

Every drill carries its set-up, its rules, its coaching points and its diagram, so nobody has to guess what the topic meant.

You publish a full week to eleven teams in one click.

And your coach isn’t just reading it — he can adjust the field, the time and the RSVP from the sideline.

The 230 pages don’t disappear. They just stop being where your methodology dies.

Heads up — soccer academy directors tired of sending PDFs nobody opens will love this.

And no, no, it’s not another platform your coaches have to learn.

It’s called the Curriculum Hub, and it’s completely free. You build the session once, and it shows up on your coach’s phone the day he needs it.

Blocks, drills, coaching points, the diagram and the video — all on the same card.

He can adjust the field, the time and the RSVP right there from the sideline.

And the library doesn’t start empty: it comes loaded with twelve activities, seven plays and a full sample session — four blocks, seven drills, eighty minutes.

If forty percent of your staff never opens what you send them, this is for you.

You could hire another US soccer coach to take work off your plate.

It won’t work.

Because the work that’s drowning you isn’t coaching. It’s everything in between.

It’s making sure thirty people know what this week’s focus is.

It’s finding out if they did it.

It’s answering the same question from four different parents.

A new coach is one more person who needs all of that from you.

And he’ll show up asking the same questions the last one did.

You didn’t hire help. You hired another line in your inbox.

So before you post that job, write down what you’d hand him on day one.

If you can’t point to where your methodology, your sessions and your standards live, a hire won’t fix this.

It’ll just find out faster.
