Sometimes when I’m bored, I go back and watch old clips of myself just to study. What worked, what didn’t, what I’d do differently now.

This was my last LSS before leaving for Vegas and somehow I ended up revisiting it tonight.

Now here’s the funny part: I don’t even really like voguing in pumps. I almost never do. But watching this back? I don’t know… these pumps were making me feel something. Like I was headed to the world’s sluttiest funeral and honestly, I’m not mad at it.

Took my ✨Dawminican diva✨ up in the studio today 🧝🏻‍♀️💙🦋🧡 and honestly? She already had IT. Like… the essence, the attitude, the mystique, the performance quality… all there. 🌙✨

It really wasn’t about “teaching” her how to perform because my bb girl already knows how to captivate a room. It was more about helping her connect all the little pieces together and loosen up into her body a bit more 💃🏽🫧 We ran through some easy grooves, performance tricks, musicality, confidence, and before I knew it she was already eating the girls up 😭🔥

And of COURSE we had to film a lil something for y’all at the end 📹💋 I taught her a cute simple lil vogue combo because let’s be real… Miss Elf Queen LOVES a model-killer shoe 👠⚠️ and I was NOT about to have her tiny petite self snapping an ankle for the art LMFAOOOO 😭🧡

I also wanted to bring out her fun shady side because one thing about Dawn… she gonna talk her s**t 😭💀 and I LIVE for that. So we gave y’all a lil bangy fantasy 🧃🦋✨ just cute, playful, a lil c**t, a lil purrrr kat, a lil elf-on-the-block realness 💋🧝🏻‍♀️

Honestly I adore her energy so much. Beyond the incredible looks and concepts, she’s genuinely funny, smart, weird in the BEST way, and completely herself. 🌟 Go give my bb girl her flowersssss 🌼🧡💙

I have to be honest… I’ve really been wanting to get back in the field and vogue again 🫀🎭

I’ve been back in the studio, back in the lab, sharpening my performance, reconnecting with my body, my stamina, my lines, my confidence… all of it 🪞⚔️✨

And yes, before the comments start, I KNOW this clip is messy to me 😭 my hands and arms were doing a lot and I definitely feel rusty, but honestly? Losing the weight I’ve lost has made me feel excited because I can already feel my flow, precision, speed, and endurance waking back up 🐍

This was honestly just a cute little one-two. A warmup. A stretch. A reminder.

Nonetheless, being back at OTA felt so good 🫶🏽🔥 The energy, the tension, the girls, the floor… ballroom will always live somewhere inside of me no matter where life takes me.

And for those of you still confused, illiterate, or intentionally dense since I already posted my plaque 😭🏆 let me help you out:

I am legendary for runway AND for my contributions to the mainstream ballroom scene, including the impact I’ve had through media, representation, visibility, and introducing ballroom culture to audiences and spaces that would’ve never touched it otherwise. 💋📺🌍
