Art City studio programming is busy creating costumes and floats for our June 20 Space Alien Parade!

Join us at Art City, 616 Broadway, weekdays 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm! June 15 to 18 is Mothership Construction!

Everyone is also welcome to create their own costumes, banners and floats at their own spaces to bring to the parade. June 20 Parade schedule: 1 pm BBQ and gather to get ready behind Art City 2:00 pm Parade starts moving through the streets of West Broadway 3 pm Parade returns to Art City See you here, planet earth is counting on you!

HAPPY PRIDE!!! Minister Nahanni Fontaine’s team asked us to paint banners for their June 5 Pride at the Leg event! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

These banners will be kept to decorate future Pride at the Leg events! Thanks to Minister Fontaine for including us!

Art City is always PROUD to be invited to lead art workshops at Pride Winnipeg! This year, join us at the Forks June 6 & 7, 12 noon to 5 pm to make PRIDE PRONOUN PINS and MAGIC WANDS!!! These workshops are free, supplies areprovided, and everyone is welcome!!!

Presenting our June 2026 studio programming calendar! This month in the drop in studio, we are working towards our June 20 Art City Space Alien Parade! We will create Costume Designs of the Third Kind, Build a Fleet of Flying Saucers, and Mothership Construction! All of this, plus Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing Club, Film Photo and Indigenous Art Program! FREE! All ages drop in, weekdays, 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm! Please note that we are closed on Friday June 19. On June 20, join us as we parade our Space Alien costumes and moving sculptures through the streets of West Broadway! Parade Schedule: 1 pm, Gather to get ready, entertainment and refreshments 2 pm Parade starts 3 pm Parade ends This event is free and everyone is welcome! Art City will be closed June 22 to July 1. See you on June 2 for our first day of summer programming!

Dates: July 2nd to August 29th
Times: Monday to Thursday, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
Location: The park at 110 Young Street and Art City (616 Broadway) for bad weather days
Cost: Free of Charge!
All materials are included and a healthy meal is provided every session

ARTsquad is a visual-arts-based program designed to engage participants in fun, meaningful experiences, build friendships, and develop and strengthen leadership skills.
ARTsquad members will earn a small honorarium at the end of the program based on their participation.

Please fill out this form and return it to Art City or submit the google forms by June 16th at the latest. Space is limited. You will be contacted by June 17th, 2026 if your application has been accepted.

Priority will be given to youth who fall within the eligible age range.
