With one day left until my passport expired I boarded my flight home, just begging for disaster. It’s funny how easy it is to forget the important things (say, internationally valid identification) when you’re rushing to attend to the urgent (looking for that darn universal wall adapter, packing in a stop at the bank, the mall, aaand the pharmacy and, well, you get it).
