Five Rivers Crematorium

Crematorium and Cremation Centre serving the entire Cariboo Chilcotin and Coast located in Williams
Five Rivers Crematorium is a public facility owned by the City of Williams Lake. It was built by the Central Interior Cremation Society with funds generously donated by the industry, unions, and the public. The crematorium is managed and operated under contract by Cariboo-Chilcotin Funeral Services. David Wilson, The Crematorium Operations Manager and a licensed funeral director, has been the main cremation operator at Five Rivers since it opened in 2002. As part of our commitment to the environment and community, we have continued to support Forests for tomorrow by donating funds for the planting of ten trees in the Cariboo-Chilcotin for every cremation. Forests For Tomorrow is a provincial government program set up to help fund replanting fire damaged and beetle killed forests in B.C that otherwise would not be re-forested. Our Mission Statement
To provide the highest level of service with integrity and respect to the public and funeral professions alike while giving back to the community and environment through partnerships, relationship building, efficiency, and sustainability. We will endeavour to honour the persons whose final disposition we are entrusted to oversee with integrity, dignity, and respect, without prejudice. Five Rivers Crematorium is a registered division of Cariboo-Chilcotin Funeral Service Ltd.

On Fridays we like to pause and take a moment to remember those who have gone before us, those we wish were here. We like to do this by taking a moment in song. Please join us as we hold close in our hearts those who are hurting, those who are grieving, and those whose hearts are full of love for their people who no longer walk this earth. Join us as we listen to "Heart of Life" by John Mayer.
