Because it ALWAYS snows after my birthday, I’m a total pessimist when we get a taste of spring weather in March. However, saw this little glimpse of spring today and me believe warm weather will soon be here for good.

This December, I’m giving myself a tiny gift every day — a few quiet minutes, no screens, no noise, just me. A little space to breathe, reset, and notice the good things I usually rush past.

No big goals, no pressure… just a small daily promise to myself. 🤍✨

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted — life got busy, as it tends to do 🍁 But something about fall always pulls me back. The colors, the crisp air, the reminder to slow down and savor things. Hoping to be more active here again… starting with this little love letter to autumn. 🍂✨

After almost 15 years with us, we had to make the hard decision to let Gilbert cross the rainbow bridge today. It was unexpected but take peace knowing she isn’t suffering anymore.

It took a LOT of patience, but I think I might have finally figured this sourdough thing out. Made my second loaf today and it was another success. Next time I might even try a flavoured version. Now that I have a better handle on what it takes, it’s not actually that hard and it’s damn tasty.

We have a tree at work that we decorate seasonally, so today I got out my to get it ready for Valentine’s Day. Just because I am single, doesn’t mean I don’t still believe in love.
