What an amazing weekend!! Our first step back into the game and we jumped in with both feet! Thank you so much to ALL Canadian Events for the opportunity to participate in such an incredible event that allowed us to get ourselves back up and running.
Full disclosure: Covid hit us hard. The mental and emotional toll of throwing yourself heart and soul into a business only to have it feel as if it was stolen is something difficult to describe. Coming back is going to be a long hard road, but coming full circle to realize that this is the right direction was the hardest part. Special thanks to the incredible individuals behind MH Fine Foods, Amber Earth, Pierogi Me, and (absolutely most of all) All Canadian Events for the words of encouragement and the final reminder of what we are and what we're capable of. Your support means the world and we couldn't do it without you. 💖

What an incredible weekend!! For all our guests, vendors, entertainers, staff and all the other movers and shakers thank you for reminding us what real community looks like. From start to finish, the smiles, laughter and good spirits left us with hearts that were undoubtedly as full of joy as our bellies were as full of buttertarts! And the rebrand is complete! Some of you have been with us for a while and we can’t thank you enough. There’s been a lot of struggle, challenge and change involved since we started out back in 2015. To say it’s been a long tough ride would be an understatement. Much of what we encountered, as well as what we learned, was never even on our radar when it all began. Even the behind the scenes team itself has done quite the flip and let’s not even get started about the impacts of recent times dealing with the pandemic. That being said, the time spent working through everything helps to bring things into perspective. Opportunities and temptations to throw in the towel and walk away have presented themselves time and again. There’s been pauses and time for reevaluating, but in the end? Somehow it always comes back to this…this industry, this business, this support network of family and friends, and above everything….our customers. There’s something about the power to brighten peoples lives with such a simple thing like a cupcake or loaf of bread. Something about providing a happy memory, nourishing food, opportunities for young workers, and being part of such an incredible local tapestry of small business owners while we do it. So….despite everything…we’re here, and we’re here to stay….We may have needed the break to reform and evolve and come into our own (moving away from our Lourenço”s Bakery roots) and to finally take our place with a brand that’s more truly representative of who we are. We thank you for the time you’ve spent supporting us so far and look forward to sharing many more years with all of you. Thank you!!

There’s an easy way to make sure you’re buying the freshest ingredients possible...hit up those markets guys! If you don’t have time to grow your own this is as good as it gets. The fresher the ingredients the better the end result when it comes to baking!

We’re currently working through a lot of the usual start up adventures (made extra fun due to covid) so our storefront isn’t currently open for pick up. We are currently accepting online orders for our macaron by the dozen for $24. PM us directly via any of our social media channels to arrange delivery!

Can’t believe we’re back in the test kitchen working on our new menu! It’s been such a long painful stretch (as it has been for so many others) and we never imagined getting back to work would feel so good.
We’re working with fresh berries for the next few days and the smell is incredible!

Our crispy crunchy flaky pastry never knew what was coming when we whipped up a batch of our creamy scratch made traditional custard!
If you're a fan of these delectable treats then you'll want to get your hands on a dozen (or two!). These amazing tarts are one of our original products that we first started with so we're pretty confident we can out match some of the best!
