StoreMob

The idea is really simple; join together with others to encourage a store to give you better price on something you want. The History

Originally devised in China, Tuángòu (pronounced 'twangoo') was organized by savvy local web forum users. These individuals used their collective buying power as a bargaining chip - approaching retailers and securing bulk purchases for less. The phenomenon was adopted in the early years of the web, but faded into obscurity until more recently when local deal sites have begun exploding in popularity. StoreMob.com
