CALLING ALL SUSSEX STUDENTS!

Upgrade is having an event this coming Monday for all Sussex students to attend! Please see the photo attached for more info.

Hey guys! If you happen to be studying in your residence during the exam period and start to get a little hungry, don't worry, Upgrade Council has your back! Throughout the exam period your upgrade reps will be going around handing out drinks and snacks to anyone who looks like they need it.

And LOCUS students don't you worry, if you're studying in the CSLE (Centre for Student Life and Engagement) we'll be handing out snacks to you too!

A BIG thanks to everyone who came out to our Expo; it was so much fun and a huge success! We couldn't have done it without you guys!

We just wanted to thank everyone that came out to our Tips and Dip event last night; it was a lot of fun and a major success!

However, the fun isn't over. Tomorrow at 1:30 we will be hosting The Game of Hawks; an intense inter residence competition that'll bring not only your residence together, but all of the faculties as well! Ask your Upgrade Representative for more details!

There's still plenty of food and plenty of profs so make sure you guys come out!!

It seems like around this time of year everyone is forced to spend so much money on textbooks and school supplies, so we decided to help out our fellow first years by giving you all a chance to win 4 $50 BOOKSTORE GIFT CARDS

Thank you to everyone that came out to our Econ & Chill study session tonight! It was a major success and a big thank you to our Econ TA's Tamim and Lucas who took time out of their day to help all of us out! The study session is still running until 10:00 so if you haven't made it out yet, definitely reach!

Excited for Hawk Weekend but nervous about midterms on Saturday or assignments due next week? Then come out to the Conrad 24 Lounge tonight from 7-10pm, enjoy free food and drink, receive help from TA's and hangout with Upgrade!

Getting excited for Hawk Weekend?! So are we! Make sure to come check out our event Riddle Me This in the Turret this Saturday at 10am!!! Put your knowledge and team work to the test and compete against other residences!

We'd also like to take a second to apologize for some miscommunication of the rules at the event. We realized that this impacted some teams and we are truly sorry for that, these kinks will be worked out before Hawk Weekend and future events.
Everyone who came out gave it their all, and competed hard and with good intentions, we apologize to anyone who may have left frustrated due to miscommunication.
Again a big thank you to everyone who came out and gave it their all! Can't wait to see everyone at our events next term!
