sensors have come a long way since they first hit the market a decade ago. With claims of low accuracy, a short lifespan, no in-ground solution, and less than stellar wireless connectivity, the first sensors were not optimal. Now though, many of the previously held beliefs surrounding their use are no longer true. In fact, most market research supports sensor-based stall monitoring as the best choice for a smart parking solution.

With wildfire season approaching, it is important to remember that smoke can impact air quality, even if you aren’t in close proximity to the fire! Smoke events from wildfires can drift for thousands of kilometers and last for months at a time.
Since smoke can enter buildings in a number of ways, active monitoring is important to ensure that there are no health concerns. Solutions that enable monitoring of key metrics such as CO2 levels and particulate matter provide active risk assessment, giving occupants peace of mind that they are safe inside even when the air outside is compromised.
