How much of your awareness can you bring into your conscious attention? What were you before you were human? Where does life go when we die? What was there before the Big Bang?
I feel we are going to observe huge advancements in human consciousness over the next 10-15 years and I’m pumped looking forward to it 🙌
While I was backcountry camping this summer in BC, I had quite a shift in my awareness happen before leaving the camp site. Usually I pack up, clean up and head out. My good friend said to me “let’s leave the camp site better than when we got here.” That hit me hard in my heart and in my head on so many different levels. This wasn’t just about us repairing the sitting area, collecting wood for the next campers and sweeping the grounds with branches. There was so much more I was thinking about! Have I been leaving the places I go into on a daily basis “better” than when I first arrived? It was in that moment of thought that I made a mental note to work towards leaving EVERY single space I was going into “better” than when I first arrived
Osteopathy is more than just a science, it is an evolution of consciousness through palpation and humble observation of the greatest mechanisms known to man 💀

Quite often we get wrapped up in the end process of things. Whether it is working towards a promotion at work, losing a certain amount of weight or completion of school. It is great to attain those goals however we should be mindful of how we go about attaining those goals
This means taking an extra moment to breathe, reflect and refresh your perspective on your task at hand. This also means being content at where you’re currently at even though you’d like to be further ahead. I strongly believe that this adds even more value and gratitude to your hard earned accomplishments. You also get to have the honour to look back in good health and good spirits after establishing your vision!
Open your horizons to possibilities that have yet to come into fruition. Your success is determined by your objective awareness and your ability to adapt to change
Strive for excellence, through diligence and perseverance 🏆

Did you know that DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) also means “Dig On” according to Andrew Taylor Still- the founding father of Osteopathy!
The following quote is from Mr. Sutherland, who really took “Dig On” quite literally and discovered something very interesting about cranial bones 💀

The photo above is an example of the traditional volumetric hold of the cranium. It provides information on the evaluation of movement at the SBS junction (sphenobasilar symphysis) as well as a global evaluation of the entire volume

“In correction it is not sufficient to thrust or force a vertebra into line. It is essential to remember that we must rectify the whole gravity line before we can adjust the local lesion or keep it adjusted. This means that the osteopathic lesions is not merely a maladjusted vertebra, series of vertebrae or soft tissues. It is however a disturbance which plays against the force and line of gravity in the spine and body.” ~ J.M. Littlejohn
