RPAS WILCO
We help Canadian Drone Pilots be compliant with the regulations set by Transport Canada. RPAS WILCO

Airports should not be finding out about drone flights after they happen.
They need visibility before takeoff.
That’s what Airport Safety Management makes possible.
8 airports across Canada are already in the network, giving airport teams structured mission data from over 50,000 drone pilots using RPAS Wilco.
With Airport Safety Management, teams get:
✅ Live visibility into nearby drone activity
✅ Direct two-way communication with operators
✅ Configurable rules by zone, runway, or time window
✅ One portal for partner-pilot coordination
And the network is growing.
Defence facilities and correctional sites are now joining to bring stronger coordination to more complex low-altitude airspace environments.
Because airspace safety should start before the drone takes off.

Beyond Visual-Line-of-Sight in Canada is no longer a question of if.
It’s a question of how.
And for many teams, that’s where operations start to slow down.
Because BVLOS is not just about getting the drone in the air.
It’s about proving that every flight is planned, documented, and repeatable.
That means understanding:
→ Airspace
→ Location risk
→ Population density
→ Terrain and obstacles
→ Detect-and-avoid requirements
→ Documentation and records
→ Team workflows
→ Contingency planning
The teams moving forward are the ones building the right systems behind the flight.
That means replacing manual processes with tools that make BVLOS workflows faster, clearer, and easier to document.
RPAS Wilco helps Canadian BVLOS pilots and teams plan smarter, document faster, and operate with more confidence using official NAV CANADA data.
BVLOS is here.
Make sure your workflow is ready.

We’re excited to share that we’ve has been selected to participate in .
This event brings together leading counter-UAS innovators, and we’re proud to contribute to the conversation.
At AIM Robotics, we’re building RPAS Wilco SafeAirspace to help frontline teams move beyond fragmented tools and operate with a complete airspace intelligence ecosystem — from detection to authorization and response.
We’re looking forward to connecting with industry leaders, public safety teams, and defence partners, and to demonstrating SafeAirspace in action.

The long weekend is almost here! Before you pack up your drone and head to the cottage, make sure you're flying legally.
Whether you're flying Basic or Advanced, you require a proper site survey to fly.
With RPAS Wilco, you generate a site survey with airspace checks, weather, and NOTAMs in under 2 minutes. ✅

All Parks Canada locations are "no drone zones" for recreational use. 🏞
Flying without authorization can mean enforcement action and fines under federal park regulations. ❌
Nesting and breeding season makes this even more important right now.
👉 Here's what to check before you launch anywhere near a park this spring.

Got a or another microdrone? 🚁
It's true you don't need a certificate or drone registration to fly them in Canada. But that doesn't mean there are zero rules.
Transport Canada still requires you to fly safely. Putting people, vehicles, or manned aircraft at risk is always a no-go.
✅ Swipe to see what that actually means in practice.

How long should it take to know if you're cleared to fly?
Most pilots still stitch it together: NAV CANADA tab, weather tab, NOTAM search, a mental map of controlled airspace.
With the RPAS Wilco app your down with one click in under 2 minutes. Official data, one screen and your done.

You can’t negotiate with the weather. 🌤️
For an RPAS pilot, weather isn’t just one variable. It’s the variable. The one that determines whether anything else gets a chance. 🚁
That’s why the ground check happens before you leave the house, not when you arrive at the launch site.
Five quick checks:
Wind. Visibility. Cloud ceiling. Precipitation. Temperature. 🌧️🌡
If all five are clean, you fly.
If even one is questionable, you don’t.
One habit worth keeping: check the GFA the night before, then METAR/TAF about an hour before launch. In Canada, weather shifts faster than most people expect.
You can find METARS directly on the RPAS Wilco app. Download it for free on the App Store.

Most Canadian drone pilots can't tell you which airspace they're standing in right now.
🟢 Uncontrolled. Basic cert.
🟡 Controlled. Advanced cert + NAV Canada authentication
🔴 Restricted. Permit required.
For drone operators one wrong assumption is the difference between a routine job and a Transport Canada investigation.
