As clients’ begin opening their units for the season, it is recommended to check all caulking and seams. When doing this, your goal is to look for any spots with cracking. It is recommended to reseal all joints where damage arises to avoid water leaks that can cause costly issues.

Another unit affected by water damage;

Having a leak causing wood rot just inside the slide out, this repair was much needed. Fixing the wood and structural beams, we were able to clean and reuse the original carpet to ensure a cohesive look throughout. Putting all of the furniture back, this unit is good as new!

A lesson of what to watch for on your unit;

When batteries begin to corrode, nothing is going to work properly and overtime they will stop working completely. If you see this or swollen batteries, it’s time for a replacement, as soon as possible.

After an accident affecting the lower side storage of this unit, our team dismantled and repaired the whole side of this motorhome. Needing framework repaired, doors replaced, and painting matched, this was quite the job. Our expert team got down to business, and now you can’t even tell there was an issue!

Happy camping!

Water damage is no joke!

With the opportunity for mold growth when moisture gets trapped, fixing water damage is extremely important. Having it repaired properly will save you from further damage and ensure the structure of your unit does not deteriorate.

This trailer needed the whole back wall removed, insulated and resealed. Working together due to the scale of this job, our team got this camper ready for spring.

As always, our expert team of technicians recommends checking your unit every spring and winter to ensure all joins are still sealed properly. Weather and sun corrosion can be your worst enemy, but by inspecting frequently, you can avoid costly repairs.

A perfect example of why we recommend checking all seals at the beginning and end of every camping season.

Last fall, this camper reached out to have their entire unit inspected and caulked if needed. Once we were on the roof, it was clear there were major cracks forming. Had our client not addressed this issue before winter, there could’ve been extensive water damage come spring. Sealing the roof as well as windows and vents etc, this unit is safe from any issue in the near future.

Happy camping!
