What you need to know for the Spring Market!
•Date: Saturday May 9th
•Time: 11:00am- 4:00pm
•Location: St. George's Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich St, Guelph.
This looks to be an accessible location for visitors based on information provided, but please check with the organizer for specifics as I have never been to this venue before.
Please note- This is NOT a free event to attend. Entry is Pay What You Can (suggested $3), or by donation to the Guelph Food Bank.
•What I'll be selling: a bit of everything! Beaded earrings, bracelets, chokers, suncatchers, bookmarks, medicine pouches, ornaments, beading spoons, gemstone pendants, ribbon skirts, drum bags, and more!
•Payment methods: I'll be accepting cash, etransfer, debit, and credit through my Shopify reader.
•What can I expect?: This is my first Guelph event, so I'm going off of correspondence with the organizers. There will be 35+ vendors both inside and out of the church, with good and beverages available from a few vendors. There should be workshops running throughout the event as well! As always, look for the aqua polka dot tablecloth. I'm looking forward to meeting so many new people!
•Price range: this currently looks to be $2-$125, with LOTS of cheaper options available! My woven stars, beaded geckos, mini beaded rounds, and simple pride double loops will be their standard $5-25 sliding range, hopefully allowing for a wider range of accessibly priced products.
I'm hoping to have a suggested price on each individual item for clarity, but will still be offering sliding scale pricing. There will be a donation tin on my table as always, with contributions going to my sponsored spot program. I currently don't have any spots available, but am hoping to be able to offer some soon!!
•Friendly reminders: I'm happy to switch out findings! I keep everything hypoallergenic as a base, and have sterling silver and gold available at an upcharge. I also carry clip on options! I include a cord/chain with every pendant purchased, and have limited sterling silver and gold chains available at an upcharge as well. I can switch out anything displayed as a keychain/zipper pull with bookmark posts, kilt pins,

I had a GREAT time yesterday at Laurier's MarketFest 2026! It was definitely a long day, but so worth it!!! I really enjoyed being able to see the other vendors, chat with people walking by, and have a fun day. These events are so reaffirming and welcoming- I always come out away from them feeling so warm and loved 🥰
I hope to see everyone again soon!

Morning Light Crystal Ice Fringes (not available)
Remember the shiny ice duo that I posted a bit ago? This is the OG piece that I was waiting to post! I ended up waiting for everyone in the exchange to get their pieces before posting. I've really enjoyed the whole process- wela'lin to .collective for organising it!
My recipient was (the last photo is from them, after they received this pair!), with the suggestion prompts including shiny and white/cream/gold. I've made a cream/silver collection before, but haven't gone into these light shades for a while. I played around with a few concepts before I started this set of fringes- this idea just seemed to click!
There is such a beauty that can be found in the way that the sun gleams off of the fresh snow- especially if there's a light ice coating on top of it! The light glitters in so many directions, being almost blinding in the right conditions.
This idea was my first time using silk delicas, and the way that the beads glitter feel like they perfectly encapsulate this idea. There was a bit of a thread-snapping learning curve, but I feel like it was definitely worth it! I feel like the extra colours only augment the beauty of the silk delicas, and I would definitely be open to making a further collection of this colour way if people are interested!
