After 24 years of searching for a property and persevering through the permit process, we have come to the point where we can use our new facilities .church.flam for worship! Sunday can’t some soon enough. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

After 24 years, the wait is almost over. Sunday we hope to have our first worship service here .church.flam in the new building. A few minor items to complete but nothing to hinder moving forward. Sunday can’t come soon enough. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. All praise to Him for ever and ever!!

“We need some bulkheads done”. Ok, are they straight, angled or rounded? “Actually, we need all three…..” sometimes it feels as if the framing never ends at the .church.flam project. It’s been a little challenging at times, but we are always up for a challenge. Every day a little closer to being able to use the building to worship and praise our Savior!

Another productive week! 975 sheets later and the roof .church.flam is sheeted. The basic structure is now done! A side canopy and a whole lot of back framing to be done yet, but things are progressing very well.

We managed to get a great start on the sanctuary trusses .church.flam today - roughly 60% complete. Up next are the two gable wing walls at the front of the sanctuary and then the rest of the trusses. Getting close to getting this building envelope enclosed.

What a great week! Trusses and plywood on the foyer area and valley trusses for the sanctuary .church.flam are installed. This is what 48’ up from the slab will look like! Next week come the scissor trusses for the sanctuary. Work hard, play hard. Or rather - build well, eat well. The crew has earned this Friday afternoon brisket feast. A few more top hats and a gable truss and the foyer area of the .church.flam will be ready for plywood. I’m not sure if the 104’ long hallway is big enough..... but it will sure be great! Stay tuned for the sanctuary truss installation. Due to the size, they were delivered in two pieces and we will need to assemble them before hoisting them up. The peak will be just shy of 48’ in the air. Hoping for more weather like today as we get to this.

Anyone else miss coffee social with fellow parishioners? Once this Covid thing disappears, the social hall in the new .church.flam building will be plenty large to host all, with space to spare. Another beautiful day for trusses. Thankful for all the help so far
