Jamie is now an approved provider for Somatic Experiencing Personal Sessions for students currently completing their Beginning Year of SE Training.
These sessions are an opportunity to slow down, explore responses that may have surfaced in the training, and gently navigate the places where there may be more to discover. Think of them as a means to integrate and deepen your education, on your terms.
No fixing, no performing, no expectation to have it all figured out. Just a space to be curious about your experience, and deepen your learning, with someone alongside you.
If you’re a Beginning Year SE student looking to complete some of your personal sessions, pop me a message. I’d love to connect.

It’s time for a summer breather around the office! We’ll be away until Aug 10, inquiries, calls, emails, etc will be responded to then. We wish you each a deeper summer breath as well.

Every New Year's Day, a friend and I set intentions for the year ahead and choose a word to guide us.
This year, my word was COURAGE.
At the time, I thought courage looked like standing on the edge of cliffs, diving into deep water, or riding wild horses. The big, bold, adrenaline-filled moments.
But somewhere along the way, my definition changed.
I've realized that courage is often much quieter.
It's having the conversation you've been avoiding. Saying what you really feel. Letting yourself be seen. Asking for help. Walking into spaces where you don't know if you'll belong. Choosing vulnerability, even when every instinct tells you to protect yourself.
If I'm honest, I'd still rather jump off a cliff than willingly choose vulnerability.
And yet, I'm starting to think that's where courage lives.
Maybe courage isn't about being fearless. Maybe it's about being willing to stay open despite the fear.
Yours in courage.

Today's thoughts from the therapy room :)

Last week brought our annual therapy road trip (theme was Johnny Cash, apparently!). This is always an important chance to attend our own therapy sessions in person, to grab some tasty bites from , and to have a chance to connect & debrief our sessions on the drive home.
There's an unspoken rule in the therapy space that we can't take clients further than we ourselves have been - hence why it's our responsibility to not only learn on an ongoing basis, but to also ensure we have accountability, a deeper understanding of self, and are continuously building capacity for sitting with discomfort.
Being a therapist doesn't exempt us from being human, in many ways, it asks us to embrace our humanity even more fully.
The longer days, the sunshine, time spent nurturing gardens...gosh it's good for the soul! We also see our cancellations increase in relation to this, so for existing clients, there's decent availability for you before we open our waitlist a bit more!
Book online, or email [email protected] to get in.

Boundaries, but make them… pasta-friendly 🍝. Clear boundaries = healthier relationships, less burnout, more space for what matters. When learning clicks like this, you know there's some smart up and coming therapists in the wings!

Mental Health First Aid isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither are organizations.
The Essentials route builds shared awareness, common language, and practical tools for recognizing and responding early.
The Certification route goes deeper, preparing designated team members to respond confidently in higher-impact or crisis situations.
Both can be delivered either in-person, or virtually, and both support healthier, more responsive workplaces.
Choosing the right option depends on your team, your environment, and the level of support you want to build. Have questions? Pop an email to [email protected]
