SUMMER IN SASKATOON

Lulu is being adopted to Cathy S of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
She will be the first guaranteed dog traveller on Michelles Summer Dog Trip♡ Woohoo...[let's get in a trip before all the planes are grounded owing to high priced jet fuel]

We will be soon setting the date. So now is the time to adopt one of Summer or Carmens pups or even Guero or Laura, older dogs waiting a while.

MAGIC CARPET RIDE ?
These rugs fly into the washing machine daily.

Sweet Dulce is like those tennis ball machines which shoot out tennis balls. She needs little washable rugs to move around indoors so she can have the traction to get up if she falls over. They have to be washed daily if she doesn't make it through the night because she always needs a rug in her pen. P*e pads don't work.

She definitely needs a foster home before the winter and it needs to be somewhere which does not get snow because she needs her outside time because outside she is very normal and she needs grass and the outdoors for her exercise to strengthen her muscles.

Give her a chance with an adoption trial ? Or even a month of respite foster care this summer?

LIVING LA VIDA TO THE MAX

For a dog Max the puppy is abnormally interested in Lake flora at lake Catemaco.
The shelter pups do enjoy their time at the lake. We are grateful the shelter helpers take them out and about.

Please remember that our shelter dogs survive on your very kind donations.

Even the smallest donation can be a lifeline...can help us buy that extra kilo of food to get through the week.

☆☆☆MEXICAN HEROES☆☆☆

♡Thankyou Catemaqueños for this wonderful gift of donated food♡ The wonderful people of Catemaco have given us what little they have to contribute and help our work by buying some kilos of food♡

On Sunday, much to our surprise, there were some food donations taken to the Spayneuter event. This week we are still struggling to get spays sponsored and need to buy supplies for our own shelter animals because shelter rent week is always a challenge. So we were only able to support Adoracions strays by sending the spayneuter dogfood donations her way. She looks after several strays and seeks out street dogs to get spayed. She does the majority of stray outreach and community outreach, tirelessly caring for so many dogs.
When we can get more supplies ourselves then we will make sure she gets a bag of dogfood to ease the stress of her big responsibility. We are hoping in the next day or two. Adoracion also volunteers sometimes with us and she and her cousin provided the spayday location free of charge.

Some dogs she has rescued have ended up as our intakes, like little Mariposa who now lives in Ontario and enjoys lounging by the swimming pool in her own garden.
Without Adoracion Mariposa would be sunning herself in the middle of the road, flat as a pancake , by now most likely!
But no, she is living her happy and best life because Adoracion refuses to be blind to the suffering of strays in Catemaco.

☆Your Help is Essential☆
We are grateful for any help you can give us catching up with the May 31st spays and gathering funds for the June 21st Spays.
♡HUMANE POPULATION CONTROL IS AT THE HEART OF RESCUE♡
Please Sponsor a Spay / neuter? We have letters of thanks still to write from the weekend and we are catching our breath after our very successful Spayneuter event in Catemaco. We are elated at the success of the event and scared that we still need to cover some of its costs, despite your incredible generosity so far.
Some Los Sauces Colony dogs still need to be spayed. Please help us recover and do more surgeries. Humane population control is at the root of rescue♡

MARTIN SAYS "F*** CANCER🦶 AND DOUBLE F*** F****ITY F*** TEEFS!" 🦷🦷🦷🦷🦷🦷
[ He is hot and tired and being ungentlmanly today]

27° in Duncan,BC.
Martin is enjoying some shade....or tolerating it...as he thinks about his owie teefs.

Got any ideas for Martins Dental Fundraising? We are open to your ideas ? He needs a cancer test ( to identify some non differentiated cells in the removed toe tumour) and his dental at Oaklands mid June. How do we raise $3000 in 10 days?
Please help us brainstorm? We welcome your comments/ advice/ suggestions/ offers to have a garage sale for Martin will not be refused!

☆Edited to add:
Please don't suggest a different vet clinic fron Oaklands. We are not interested in moving Martin to a different clinic. We are already doing things through Oaklands in Victoria and they give us discounts and are already processing his tissue samples. They know him. They are awesome and very good to work with. They did the tumour removal. Our volunteers are nearby.
We are asking for fundraising suggestions please and not help to change Martins vet clinic. We are already registered with several climics for fosters in different locations. We are particularly impressed with Oaklands.
