​Even with most days spent behind the desk, last month was the perfect kickoff to summer. A mix of grinding, showing up for myself, and filling my cup with the best community:

👟​Daily walks & restarting tennis 🎾

🧘🏾‍♀️​Sticking with a 25-day pilates challenge (almost quit twice, but we made it!)

🌄This month had a lot of ​early morning meetings

🤝Annual General Meeting with as their ED which marks a pause for me to the society for a bit.

​☕️Incredible coffee chats with local business that filled my cup

🌊 thursday business coffee chats fueled the month

​✨️FIFA watch parties & FernFest with family and friends were a huge mark to beginning of summer and created the balance I needed

Thats a lie, actually...we have tried to squeeze in more hobbies than eating🤣. But the life part I have been enjoying recently, I...

✨️ supported a business mama as she started her maternity leave with day to day operations. Focused on her clients communications and her clients paperwork as she enjoyed much needed family time
✨️updated a client's dashboard in a system that works for them
✨️completed and published 2 blogs articles for a client..
✨️trained on a new CRM system Constant Contact and we are loving it.

On the hobbies part, we are just getting started...🎾 tennis for the summer will have to be a highlight🎾.
We have too many gorgeous courts, such a huge tennis community, and the weather for it in Victoria. Will be a shame not to🤷🏽‍♀️

A calendar should protect your time, not just fill it. Effective management means more than just hitting "Accept."

Start implementing 🗓buffer blocks📅15-minute gaps between calls to decompress and prep.Half the time you don't have to manually do it. Just review your calendar booking settings, and most times, adding a buffer time, is an option. This way it reduces chances of your booked meetings to overlap.

Respect your boundaries by blocking out deep-work time and personal breaks just as strictly as client meetings.

Reminder: If it isn’t on the calendar, it doesn’t exist. So plan for those focus session, a few scattered through the week gives you room to breathe.

I’m a virtual assistant, and the biggest productivity hack I rely on for my business is a simple change of scenery. 🌿

While the home office is where the magic happens, I’ve found that stepping out is what keeps the momentum going.
