Meet Rebekah Formanek, one of our Sales Consultants serving Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum, Port Alberni, and the Mid-Island. 👋

Rebekah joined Van Isle Windows in the summer of 2020, bringing 15 years of experience in the window and building supply industry. Whether it's a new build or a renovation project, she has you covered.

Originally from Northern BC, one of eight siblings, Rebekah traded extreme winters for the mild climate of Nanaimo and never looked back. When she's not helping clients find the right windows, you'll find her hiking or fishing across Vancouver Island, or cooking up something delicious for family and friends.

Known for her friendly smile and great sense of humour, Rebekah has a way of making every conversation feel easy. We're so glad she's part of the team.

After nearly 33 years with Van Isle Windows, we are wishing Alan Gellert all the best as he heads into a well earned retirement.

For most of his time with VIW, Alan was our trusted delivery truck driver, always dependable and always getting the job done. In recent years, he brought that same steady presence to our shipping and receiving department, where he continued to be someone we could count on every single day.

Beyond his formal role, Alan has been so much more than an employee. He’s been our volunteer BBQ chef at countless VIW events, bringing people together with good food and good humor. A true “steady eddy,” Alan represents the kind of loyalty, work ethic, and quiet dedication that companies are built on.

Alan, thank you for everything you’ve given to Van Isle Windows over the years. You will be genuinely missed, and we wish you nothing but happiness, health, and great adventures in retirement.
