Simplicity really
Thats all I need.
Seeking out the silent spaces of my universe staring into a void between our polarity.

I forget sometimes how easy I fall into peace when I take time offline. Much as I love to share my art and check out other artists on the platform, I must say, being outside off grid is such a relief to my nervous system.
Camping slash driving slash exploring crazy places for a week. I didn't take many photos, I was experiencing instead.
Nights were cold, days were hot and I sat around listening to creeks flow and the valley breeze rushing through the trees and setting my monkey mind free to natter to itself unrestrained.
Usually, I work so hard to focus on one thing (more like two or three points of attention; a problem to solve, a conversation I'm replaying and a song humming).... I actually find it more difficult to stay on a single track than to juggle several trains. I will put on background noise everywhere to occupy those empty spaces when I am inside studying. A documentary show, a fan, fish tanks dripping.
My brain is a very loud place, and I didn't really appreciate this until I was in the quiet of nature alone again.
I've sat for hours thinking, watching, listening; not a word leaves my lips but my brain is unrestrained. When my mask is gone, when I no longer track a thought to its end, to lose my place, to forget mid idea what I was thinking, and to come back around to it hours later; I am most at peace pondering, while taking in the sounds sights and smells of the outdoors. These images, the writing that I share, however random I am, are really the core of FireflyMoments Gratitude and joy, nourish love.
