We have to take a minute to give a huge thank you to Franchisee Rebecca's mom, Judy! A valuable member of the Mathnasium Vaughan family who is not on the payroll but is a huge part of our team! Mrs. Judy is always there to encourage and support us in any way! She also voluntarily comes into the centre once a week to help clean out, organize, and get binders ready for updates!

Damen is going to explain the "Summer Slide" to everyone...

Over the summer vacation months, kids lose valuable math knowledge. Their momentum stops and they forget valuable foundational pieces. They return to school feeling behind and often end up confused, frustrated and their confidence takes a severe hit.

The solution? Keep practicing and stay fresh. If a child is already behind it's only going to keep piling up and get worse. Summer is a great time to fill any crucial gap areas. If a child is not too behind, it's a good time to stay fresh and even to proactively get ahead before school resumes! At Mathnasium Vaughan we offer math all summer long. We know you're busy and we will customize a plan that works best for you. A couple hours a week can do wonders for your child's math comprehension....and guess what?... It won't ruin summer!! They will return to school in the fall caught up, fresh, and/or ahead!
