We’ll be airing the opening ceremony live from Mexico City on our 16-foot-wide screen ahead of the tournament’s first match.

The show will feature Shakira and Burna Boy performing “Dai Dai” alongside Alejandro Fernández, Maná, Belinda, Lila Downs, J Balvin and Tyla, bringing together Latin American music, global pop and the energy of a true opening-night spectacle.

With performances set against the backdrop of Mexico’s deep football heritage, it promises to be a moment made for the big screen. Mexico also makes history as the first nation to host World Cup matches across three separate tournaments, adding even more significance to what should be a memorable opening-night (morning!) experience.
