Calling all Vancouver dog people!

Join COPE Vancouver at Container Brewing on Wednesday, October 7 for a fundraiser and meet-the-candidates social for COPE’s 2026 campaign.

🐾 Meet City Council candidate Dr. Devyani Singh, Park Board candidate Sacia Burton, and others from the COPE team
🐾 Get a first look at COPE’s pet-friendly city platform
🐾 Test your knowledge with trivia about the ins and outs of having a dog in Vancouver
🐾 **RIOT Sketch** brings the dog-themed political comedy
🐾 Connect with fellow Vancouver pet owners and chat about housing, public spaces and life with a dog in the city
🐾 A dog-friendly photo station may also be joining the party — stay tuned!

Cribbage Returns for Season 4! 🃏🦨

The Container Cribbage League is returning for a new season on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, and once again you could Win a Keg Party!

Every Tuesday, starting at 6:00 p.m., you can play as many games as you’d like. There’s no fixed schedule—just bring a deck, find an opponent, and start cribbin’!

How It Works
• Play every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. onward
• No defined schedule—find a competitor and play
• Games can be played anywhere in the space, upstairs or downstairs
• Both winning and losing scores will be tallied
• No bonus points for skunks—although the skunkee may want to buy the skunker a b**r!
• Bring your own cribbage board and deck if you have them so we can be sure there’s enough equipment for everyone
• Bringing your own gear also makes it easier for fellow players to find you

We’ll have plenty of cribbage boards and a few decks available, but bringing your own is strongly encouraged.

Entry
Your $20 entry fee includes a 4-pack to take home after Game 1.
Please be sure to check in when you arrive so we can get you signed in.

The Prize
After the final night of games on Tuesday, December 22, 2026, the player with the most total points will be crowned the champion and win a 20 L keg setup for a party at home! Bragging rights included.
