A small measurement can make a big difference in how you see through your glasses. 👓
A pupillometer measures your pupillary distance, or PD, helping us position each lens correctly in front of your eyes.
We also measure the segment height while you are wearing your chosen frame. This tells us where your pupils sit vertically within the lenses and is especially important for the correct placement of progressive lens designs.
These measurements are usually taken during your eyewear fitting, most often by an optician, because they depend on the frame you select and how it sits on your face — not only on your prescription.
Precise measurements help provide clearer vision, greater comfort and easier adaptation to your new glasses.
