Today we celebrate Nunavut Day, recognizing Canada's newest territory and the vibrant culture of the Inuit people.
Observed each year on July 9, the day commemorates the legislation that led to the creation of Nunavut.
The territory officially joined Canada on April 1, 1999.
From world-renowned Inuit sculpture and printmaking to Inuktitut, traditional knowledge, and life in the Arctic, Nunavut continues to enrich Canada's cultural landscape.
Happy Nunavut Day.

The change came after eligible Canadian passport holders gained visa-free access to China for short stays, increasing Canada's total from 181 to 182 destinations with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access.
It's a reminder that even a single international policy change can influence global mobility rankings.

Our cars were colorful. Our homes were bolder. Even our technology had personality.
Today, much of modern life is wrapped in black, white, gray, and beige—not because the world lost its colors, but because we chose convenience, resale value, and minimalism.
The surprising part? Nature never stopped being colorful.
Maybe the world didn't become monochrome.
Maybe we just stopped choosing color. 🎨🩶
What color would you bring back into everyday life?
