NIGHTBEAT🌃 Before Geary Avenue was a “coolest neighbourhood,” it was a quiet industrial strip. Before the breweries and galleries, there was Geary Lane; a venue born from a name spoken in the dark on a night walk: Man Finds Fire. We stacked wood like a teepee for a logo, turned an old studio’s back door to the street, and built a stageless room where sound and crowd shared the same breath. We didn’t plan to transform a block. We just built a better fire. And people gathered. They still do.

Flip for vignettes and stay for the rare Fresh Snow performance from 2014 few have seen. Late nights in Toronto don’t just happen. They’re lit by sparks.
