As Cleanfarms celebrates Saskatchewan Agriculture Week, we'd like to recognize all farmers and agricultural partners across the country who make Cleanfarms recycling and stewardship programs available.

Your dedication to sustainable farming practices helps ensure a healthier environment for generations to come.

Manitoba farmers : congratulations on your 2025 contribution to environmental stewardship with an impressive 81,300 kg of grain bags and plastic baler twine collected for recycling. You broke the previous year's record under the provincially regulated program and we're aiming for great things again in 2026.

Once you've used your grain bags and twine, you'll be able to bring them to a participating Cleanfarms collection site for recycling. Find out where here: https://csmap.cleanfarms.ca/FindMap

Are you still holding on to some crop input containers?

Bring your empty and rinsed jugs, totes and drums, and spi bags to a participating Cleanfarms collection site before October 31 and help keep them out of the environment.

Find your nearest collection site and bring them in before the season ends: https://csmap.cleanfarms.ca/FindMap

Alberta farmers continue to show what's possible when sustainability and agriculture work hand in hand.

Through the Alberta Ag-Plastic. 𝑅𝑒𝑐𝑦𝑐𝑙𝑒 𝐼𝑡! pilot, used grain bags are being collected and recycled instead of ending up in burn piles or the environment. Since the pilot launched in 2019, millions of kilograms of agricultural plastics have been diverted and given a new purpose.

A big thank you to Alberta producers, collection partners, and members for helping build a greener future for agriculture.

The Cleanfarms team was honoured to contribute to Tuesday’s "Building Trust in EPR Through Storytelling" panel at the 2026 Canadian EPR Forum

Moderated by Kim Timmer, the conversation brought together communications professionals to explore how storytelling, with video and other tactics, can help build trust and demonstrate concrete impacts of EPR.

Thank you to the three expert panelists and all those who joined in this engaging and very productive discussion.
