The Labour Day long weekend is here! As you enjoy your long weekend with your family and friends - the City has a number of activities for you to consider, including:
- the Canadian National Exhibition
- City Beaches from 10:30 to 7:00pm daily
- Outdoor pools until August 31st
- Visiting the Toronto Islands
- The City’s various Museums, including the ROM, AGO, and our own Toronto History Museums
- Various farmers markets, and festivals
- The Toronto Zoo
- And much more!
Many locations will be closed or operating during holiday hours on September 1st for Labour Day, be sure to check the schedule of anywhere you’d like to visit and plan ahead.
Please note that the Labour Day long weekend is not a designated fireworks day - residents require a permit to set fireworks off on their property, and are not permitted to set fireworks off in public spaces or parks.
