Help Us Reach Our Goal - Mineral Exploration and Mining Community and First Nations Wildfire Relief Fund

In partnership with the United Way, the mineral exploration and mining community in BC is raising funds to support the communities and First Nations affected by wildfires in the southern interior. Thanks to generous donors and supporters — including Matrix Camps, Logistics and Aviation, Independence Gold Corp, Falkirk Environmental Consultants and the Association for Mineral Exploration — we are getting closer to our fundraising goal of $20,000.

The below video is of our Senior Project Geologist Matt Filgate dousing an abandoned campfire near Merrit BC that he came upon while out in the field.

Each of Talisker's field employees has been trained in wildfire suppression and all vehicles are equipped with basic fire fighting equipment to prevent the spread of wildfires.
