Spring is the season of hope, new beginnings, and transformation. Leaving behind our past and the inevitable challenges of winter, spring blossoms and awakens our souls to start over with new goals and motivation. Happy Nowruz to all my Iranian friends and family 🩷🌸🪻

🔥Are you Inflammed?🔥
In pevious posts I had mentioned some of the causes and symptoms of inflammation in your body and some herbs and foods that may help lower inflammation. 

➡️Today I wouls like to address a few ways to reduce daily inflammation, which we generally seem to neglect, such as: 

💯Improve your Gut!! So important!! Healthy gut microbiome is crucial for lowering inflammation in your body. Make sure you take prebiotics supplement or food, such as leek, green banana, asparagus.. and also probiotics both supplement and foods such as kefir, miso, sauerkraut and many more...

💆🏽‍♀️Lowering stress and getting adequate sleep. This is easier said than done! I know! We have so many sources of stress in our lives that we can not control!
Stress can trigger inflammation a few ways, one of which is, it can weaken our gut lining which can lead to increased permeability. This could cause bad bacteria entering our blood stream causing all kinds of immune cells attacking the foreign particles which in the end causes excess inflammation in our body. 

🥦Increasing Glutathione!! Our body's most important and potent ANTIOXIDANTS!! One of the main keys when it comes to fighting inflammation!!best way to increase our Glutathione is through eating sulful rich foods such as Cruciferous vegetables, garlic, shallots and onions. 

Lower intake of:
🌭Saturated fat such too much animal protein (minus fish), processed meat, margarine, pizza, butter and excess cheese can induce inflammation. 
🍹Alcohol can weaken our gut lining as well as deplete all the Antioxidants which our body needs to fight off inflammation. 

🥑Increase omega 3 fatty acids and Fiber. Ratio of omega 3 and 6 should be 4:1 in order to maintain healthy. Try to eat less omega 6: sunflower, corn oil  safflower, canola oil and instead focus on olive oil, avocado, oily fish (wild salmon), walnuts, chia seeds and flax seeds. 

🥖🍰Try to reduce excess refined carbs and sugar. Excess glucose in the body may trigger the formatiom of free radicals which could lead to inflammation. It's ok to have treat days here and there!

Estrogen is an important female hormone which plays a very important role in our overall physical and emotional health. A low RATIO of progesterone to estrogen is Estrogen dominance, even if estrogen levels are normal.

Estrogen dominance has become a common issue due to in the increasing levels of stress, unhealthy lifestyles, Xenoestrogens and many more..
We need to make sure our estrogen and progesterone are balanced in order to have hormonal balance
 
Increased estrogen can affect a female body in numerous ways:
