The stats for the condo sector of Toronto’s market in the final quarter of 2020 were grim. Especially December. A shocking number of condos had been sitting for 60+ days when my client was ready to list his so I asked him to trust me. I had a Hail Mary game plan that he was unsure about but he chose to anyways. It worked. 🥂

Interest rates are expected to rise very soon as well so I highly recommend getting in now before that happens and before the effects of the Foreign Buyer Tax start to show in our supply (foreign buyers have been a major source of the financing that have supported our new build supply).

HOUSE CRUSH OF THE DAY:

This house is very similar to the house on Kent Road that I posted last week (except that this one has a garage and is beautifully renovated).

The one on Kent went for $842,000. It will be interesting to see what this one goes for (offer date is next week).

I love the finishes that they chose and the incredibly private little deck that they created in the backyard.

HOUSE CRUSH OF THE DAY:

The Robert Watson Lofts are definitely a hot ticket in town when it comes to the hard loft scene in Toronto. It is considered by many to be one of the top ten authentic conversion loft buildings in the city. It could be my sweet tooth talking but I just love that it was converted from a confectioner's manufacturing plant.

There are always beautiful exposed beams and brick in these but this particular suite has grey/blue lowers and white uppers for kitchen cabinets that have particularly caught my eye.
