HAPPY NATIONAL BREASTFEEDING WEEK!!!
Yes, National breastfeeding week is a thing - and no it’s not always easy and not always fun. Are sore and engorged breasts normal? Is my baby latching? Am I producing enough milk? Is it normal to hate this? These are all common concerns first time parents experience. We spend so much time focusing on maintaining a healthy pregnancy and smooth labour that we are often unprepared for the changes that come with caring for a newborn or infant especially for first time (exhausted) parents.
TRAC is excited to announce we are extending our services to help support you even more during your pre and post natal period. 👏
Dr. Arlene is now offering Lactation and Infant Feeding Support to help prepare and ease you into feeding and connecting with your newborn. During these appointments she will guide you through Hand expression techniques, basic feeding and latching advice, discussion of optimal flow, and demonstrating various feeding holds to help make you as comfortable as possible during feeding times as well as a physical and oral exam of your little one.
Dr. Arlene is currently accepting new patients. Click on our website in our bio above for availability⬆️. And follow Her on Instagram for updates and information
