International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia is a worldwide event promoting solidarity and collective action for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Held annually on 17 May, it unites individuals, organizations, and institutions globally to raise awareness of their challenges and advocate for necessary laws and policies to safeguard their rights. |

Upper-year kinesiology and health students at York University are transforming academic knowledge into community research and knowledge mobilization promoting equity and inclusion in sport development and social justice. Led by the Faculty of Health’s fourth-year course Sport and International Development (KINE 4310), the initiative involves students in community projects with local and global organizations. A new generation of students has revived Lassonde Motorsports, constructing the program’s first race car in 15 years while gaining real engineering experience. Ibrahim Rfifi and Michael Rozenfeld led the effort to revamp York University’s student-run Formula SAE team, focusing on two main principles: consistency and organization.
