Glad that I got a photo with Terence this year.  He is owner and organizer of ClaringCon in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. He, his warm family and friendly volunteers do a really fantastic job putting on this great board game convention every year. 

ClaringCon is a fun board game convention that feels big and exciting while still being intimate and cozy enough to meet people and make real connections. 

I saw a lot of people playing Popcorn this weekend at ClaringCon. It looks like a lot of fun! I'm going to have to play this one for sure! Looked like your theatre was playing movies for guests. And look at these Popcorn victory points!

I played a big 12-player game of Tearable Quest at ClaringCon this weekend.

What a unique idea for a game!

Everyone gets a piece of paper with the same icons on them and you flip over a card that shows you what sets of icons you have to tear out from your piece a paper within 2-minutes. They must be the only icons on your paper and the backside of your torn sheets may have certain icons that provide bonus points. Save some of your paper for future rounds cuz you only ever get 1 sheet.

Super silly fun! A great game for a big group if you don't mind a surprising amount of stress and time-crunchy panic. ⏳️⏰️😱
