I've always lived "downtown-ish" in Toronto, that is to say close to the core of University/Yonge. But lately I have been taking a second look at Etobicoke. I love the small town feel of the Queensway (perpendicular street parking!!) and it has amenities galore, including that amazing figure 8 skating rink. It is also one of the few remaining opportunity neighborhoods for real estate imo. I just finished staging this amazing house - huge lot and loads of space priced under $750k.
