I honestly didn’t know what to expect from such a different format, but I think I may have been the most impacted by how raw, visceral, and vulnerable the night was. Peter and I have been best friends for 16 years, and we both agreed it was one the best shows we’ve played, from feel alone.

I am, in every sense, a sentimental person. That much is obvious; but I think that those of you who have known me intimately in the last few years have seen me wrestle with the weight of my feelings, at times. While I am very much a goofy and funny person, I had let some of that sentimentality slip under my skin and bury myself in my heart. The evening we got to share was a beautiful, if not profoundly poignant, reminder for me to soften a bit and let it show again. So much is lost in the things we never say - I’m touched that I could say it all to you.

spot the difference, birthday edition

Spring into love 🤍 April 16th, I’ll be playing a very intimate, unplugged set at .design. I love an unconventional show, and and I are working on some special arrangements for this one — it’ll be a night to remember.

somewhere warmer; keep me longer

What a year it’s been. I think often of the people I know…the people I knew…the people yet to come; how memory, longing, life, and love transform us — all part of the same soul. No matter what happens, after all is said and done, love remains. I don’t know what the future holds — the only thing I know for sure is things are always changing, and I love you.
