A reenactor friend needed a fix up on their uniform. Fun project for this month. And don't worry had to get a black watch pipe bag done too so we haven't forgotten the tartan for this order! Always something coming together in our wee studio...

After a bit of break to get an academic degree done... WE'RE BACK AT IT! Bring on the tartans and velvet and all the fun sewing projects :)

Stitching up some practice skirts for a group of wee beginners... such a great holiday gift idea by their teacher. Bulk order and save on shipping!

$10 each available in kid or adult sizes. We use end of bolt fabric so no color or design is guaranteed but we do our best to accommodate requests.

After a bit of a educational hiatus we are coming back to the sewing studio in September. What Scottish/Celtic themed things would you like to see? (Kilt Hospital is also back in business!)

Who wore Scotland’s oldest piece of tartan? 08/11/2016

Who wore Scotland’s oldest piece of tartan? It appears rather unremarkable - frayed, dull and measuring just seven centimetres long, but a tiny piece of tartan offers a scintillating glimpse into the post-Roman era in Scotland.
