Seems way too early to be thinking about next September, but if you have someone heading into grade 9 in the fall - enrollment is now open for my Grade 9 Math Boot Camp held at The Teaching Space and spots are going fast.
This is my 4th year offering the camp and it grows every year. I love boosting their confidence and sending them off to high school with a positive attitude about math.

What kind of calculator is in their back pack? Scientific calculators are not created equal! The ones on their phone or ones that are too basic are actually counter intuitive when it comes to the math they need to do in high school. Spending $18-$25 on a GOOD calculator will give your kid a HUGE advantage (seriously).

It doesn’t need to be fancy, just choose one that has TWO lines of display. That way, what they type remains visible once they’ve pressed the equal sign and they can scroll back and make changes if needed.

Grade 9 Math Boot Camp is back and I still have a few spots left!
