Winter rhubarb! I knew this was possible but didn't know it was still done! Anyone know where one might obtain some in the city?
Ontario Winter Rhubarb is officially in season. Rhubarb can be cooked as a sauce, made into a custard pie, baked into a crumble or crisp, used in sweet-and-sour chutneys, simmered with sugar to make compotes, made into wine and much more. No wonder it's a crowd favourite!
