Grab a quick lunch or coffee and join InnovED and OISE CPL this Wednesday for Scaling Impact Together: How Partnerships Enable Change in Education.

In this free 30-minute QuickCast, we'll chat with Martha Jez, Owner and CEO of Fair Chance Learning, about how partnerships can help education-focused ideas and initiatives move into broader practice.

Martha will reflect on Fair Chance Learning’s work, including the partnerships, pivots, and decisions that have shaped how the organization approaches scaling impact.

Especially relevant for edupreneurs and others building something new, navigating early traction, or thinking about how education-focused ideas can grow across classrooms, organizations, and systems.

Day 2 of EduForum grounded our exploration in something tangible.

Together, we moved through classrooms, labs, greenhouses, and outdoor spaces, where students weren’t just learning about concepts — they were applying them in meaningful ways.

We observed:
• high school students growing food, then using it to prepare and share a meal (borscht made entirely from what they cultivated)
• middle school students designing and building sustainable cities, integrating geography, environmental science, engineering, math, and storytelling
• learning that connected across disciplines, rather than sitting in silos

This kind of learning doesn’t happen by accident. It’s intentionally designed and supported by the right conditions.

While this was happening, something else was taking shape.

Across planning sessions, informal exchanges, and in-between moments, educators weren’t just reflecting, but starting to connect, align, and think about what this type of learning could look like in their own contexts.

This emerging network that is motivated, thoughtful, and open to collaboration, may end up being one of the most important outcomes.

Onto Day 3!

03/25/2026

Day 1 of EduForum brought deep experience, sharp thinking, and a wide range of perspectives across the room.

A few key takeaways:

• Experiential learning is not just about activities — it starts with a clear purpose. What is the learning gap, and why does the experience matter?

• There is a real tension between what young people need for life and what schools are often structured to measure.

• Community connection doesn’t happen by accident. It takes a mindset of noticing opportunities, building partnerships, and designing with intention.

Some of the richest moments happened between sessions — as people traded examples, tested ideas, and started mapping out ways to collaborate.

Now, onto Day 2: school visits!
