Eventscape collaborated with J. Kurtz Architects, Turner Construction Company and Threshold Acoustics LLC on the transformation of Kulas Hall at Cleveland Institute of Music.
Eventscape engineered, fabricated, and installed complex custom acoustic wall and ceiling systems in a variety of materials including recycled timber terrazzo panels in a slate oak colour, bronze-accented veneer cladding, perforated acoustic panels, and oak dowel screens. The systems balanced acoustic performance, geometry, and aesthetics through precision prefabrication, custom structural attachments, and coordinated installation within challenging existing conditions and tight architectural tolerances.

Eventscape was honoured to collaborate with J. Kurtz Architects, Turner Construction and Threshold Acoustics on the transformation of Kulas Hall at the Cleveland Institute of Music into a modern, world-class performance venue.
The state-of-the-art Kulas Hall was designed with cutting-edge acoustic technology to provide an unparalleled concert and education experience. The extensive renovation involved raising ceilings, reshaped walls and custom panels for better acoustics, and a restructured hall for improved sound and a more elegant design with the incorporation of a dark colour palette.

Al Qalam: Poets in the Park is a permanent public artwork at Elizabeth H. Berger Plaza, commemorating the literary legacy of New York City’s first Arabic-speaking community.
Commissioned by the Washington Street Historical Society in partnership with NYC Parks, the artwork was created by French-Moroccan artist Sara Ouhaddou and centres on a sculptural interpretation of Al Qalam, meaning “The Pen.”
Eventscape was honoured to support this meaningful project through the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the artwork’s carefully crafted aluminum elements, finished in a vibrant, durable powder coat. Eventscape also fabricated the conically curved back structures for the existing stone benches and integrated the glass and ceramic mosaic panels by Miotto Mosaics.
A beautiful tribute to memory, language, migration, and the enduring power of the written word.
