An elevated monitor- viewed looking straight ahead - defies Human Evolution and is responsible for all the eye strain, eye fatigue, head aches, dizziness, and fatigue in general that is experienced by most if not all frequent computer users. Think about every other task you complete where you use their hands. You look down to your hands, held out by forearms bent at the elbow. Just like virtually everyone does who works with their hands on this earth. Our eyes have evolved to facilitate looking down at this angle - which is why people experience far less eye strain while using their lap tops. Other reasons everyone should lower their monitor or switch to lap tops to follow - although if YOU think about Human Evolution, you are likely to anticipate what I am going to say. Sharing this with friends and coworkers may be a first step in helping them.
