Read this interesting article that questions the reliability of “averages” and how the numbers can get skewed-especially when we are talking about personal relationships, such as marriage, kids and divorce. Here is an excerpt:

This is what happens when parents leave the parenting to their kids. Come wedding time, the kids are left to mediate the peace so their special day can go ahead with no hitches.
