This World is Not Our Home EP by and myself is officially out in the world. 

Henry and I first started making music together back in 2022. Our first collaboration, Growing Pains, landed on his Reflections EP in 2024. This marked the beginning of our sonic worlds fusing; a melding of spiritual, psychedelic and soulful sounds, all wrapped up in one. 

The bones of this new record started to form as early as spring of 2023, and by the end of 2024 we had crafted 5 songs that would go on to become This World is Not Our Home. A fluid, and natural process, these songs created themselves before our very eyes. It’s a magical feeling when you can surrender yourself to the creative process and trust that the sonic explorations will guide you where they need to. I’m extremely blessed to have been able to share that process with – no guidelines, only feelings and intuition to shape the outcome. It was easy to let go, trust each other, and not overthink decisions along the way, and I think that’s felt in the final product. Also incredible blessed to have had my sonic brother in arms craft Praises to the Mother with us. We let the songs simmer for almost a year before putting the final touches on them this past fall/winter. Proud of what we were able to accomplish with these. 

Hope you all enjoy taking it in as much as we enjoyed making this record.

Praises to the Mother by and myself has been out for just over a week. We made this one together with my studio partner in crime . Much love to all those who’ve taken the time to listen to the tune. Out here in CDMX, playing a set at this evening at 11pm. Got in my run, now it’s time to run some tunes. 🫡🇲🇽

Commemorating my second marathon with the obligatory pre-race selfie for the feed. I’m aware that this is slowly becoming a running influencer page, but I swear I’m also working on music 😅

Managed to shave 12 minutes off last year’s race time effort and got a PB of 3:35 🫡🏅

Crazy that it all comes down to one day but it’s truly satisfying to see the months of hard work pay off on race day. A reminder that putting in the time and effort will help you hit the achieve the goals that you’re after.

A big shoutout to , couldn’t have asked for a better training partner. We kept each other accountable and motivated throughout the training season.

Next Friday, Vilnius/Barcelona-based DJ and producer, Alex Pletnev, makes his Toronto debut alongside Toronto’s own, Dan Only, at Bambi’s on May 30th. Trading off all-night long, join us for a a deep sonic journey in the grotto.

Pletnev is known for his prolific music production and dynamic DJ sets, he has captivated audiences across Europe. His releases on labels like RAND Muzyk x Echocentric, Linale Records, Meda Fury, SZE (a Secretsundaze sub-label), Subwax, and Le Temps Perdu have garnered widespread acclaim, featuring remixes from industry luminaries such as Ploy, Inga Mauer, Anna Helder, and Heap.

Beyond his solo career, Alex collaborates with Logeshen Moorgan in the duo Moisk. Together, they have released on labels like Terra Magica, Warning Records, Mana Abundance, Griffé Records, and Pleasure Express.

Dan Only is a Toronto-based, Juno-Nominated, Producer, Musician and DJ. He’s the head honcho over at Back Breaks Records and is also one half of the electronic duo, Cloudsteppers, a collaborative project with fellow Toronto producer Ciel. You can also catch him as a part of River Tiber’s live trio.

With releases on Peach Discs, 3024, X-Kalay, Dirt Crew, New Kanada and Hâws; Dan Only is steadily carving out a discography that touches on all dimensions of his sonic explorations. Having shared bills with Kettema, Baltra, DJ Seinfeld, Martyn, Virginia, Sully, and Darwin, to name a few, he’s also proving his worth as an eclectic DJ that isn’t pinned to one style or genre.
